Ancient tuscan traditions: a Chianti estate Farm
Tuscan Cooking Class | lasts about 5 hours|2 persons min.
The Farm is a 22-hectare estate set in the Chianti Classico Gallo Nero area. The farm is eco-friendly. All its products are organic. The cooking class is interactive and it lasts 3 hours. Each participant will prepare the entire meal. A visit of the farm and of the wine cellars will follow. Then there will be either lunch or dinner. Each dish will be accompanied by a wine produced by the farm with an explanation on pairing practices. Crostino ubriaco (literally a drunken open face toast), squash risotto with pecorino cheese, guinea-hen with Vin Santo, and pear and chocolate tart are some of the dishes to be prepared, selected according to seasonal availability.
