An organic winery, located in Carpeneto, among the rolling hills of Monferrato, specialising in only native vines such as Dolcetto, Barbera, Cortese, Nebbiolo and Albarossa. The entire agrees with a natural non-interventionist philosophy, respecting traditional practices, the diverse characteristics of the grapes territories and the climate variability of each year of production. A weekend of taste, you will be introduced to the philosophies and techniques regarding natural, bio-dynamic and organic production with particular emphasis on the management of vineyards and soils, the importance of respecting the micro-terroirs and the specific techniques of natural winemaking, ranging from spontaneous fermentations to the choice of aging materials such as terracotta, steel, used wood, concrete.
Day 1
Meeting 10.30 am – What’s in the activity
- Visit to the vineyards and introduction to organic viticulture
- Winery visit with focus on natural winemaking techniques
- Tasting of three wines with cold meats and cheese platters. These delicacies are sourced from local producers and will be served with jam and honey.
- Free afternoon
- Overnight stay: on a Raised house between the trees, Room-in-the-vineyard or Dépendance next to the swimming pool

An architecturally characteristic winery, built on three levels: reception of the grapes and de-stemming, pressing and vinification and underground cellar. River rocks, resins, steel, recycled plastic and wooden staves render this winery extremely functional and eco-friendly. This Winery is a member of FIVI, VinNatur, Sorgente del Vino and Consorzio di Tutela dell’Ovada docg. Located on a small plateau in the rolling hills of Monferrato and surrounded by the vineyards you can find the Eco bio Farmhouse “La Bella Vite”, rooms with a v…ine for a peaceful stay where you will be able to enjoy the unspoiled nature and feel the rhythm of nature.
