The aim of this day is to teach and make known everything possible about organic farming. We we’ll look at vine grafting, how to make olive oil, how to handle wheat and do pottery. At our farm the entire agricultural production, grapes, olives, wheat, and vegetables, is done according to organic farming principles.

A day to discover farming
A day at a farm | about 12 hours|4 person minimum
The day starts with a guided visit of the estate’s vineyards, focussing on the characteristic of different types of vineyards. There will also be a visit to the windmill with an introduction on extra virgin olive oil production methods. Then a wine tasting and traditional Tuscan dishes. The pottery lab will offer the chance to take a class on decorative art. As an alternative it is possible to ride on horseback through the vines. Dinner will be served at the restaurant “Mulino a Vento”
