Guided tour of the winery and vineyards where Prosecco Superiore is produced
Visit and Tasting in the winery | Approximately 2 hours
An activity to discover Prosecco Superiore, on an estate where tradition and innovation are combined in order to best express the character of the wines produced. You will sample four types of Prosecco Superiore, along with locally sourced cured meats, cheeses, and homemade bread. An activity that will give you the chance to set off on a journey through the history of Prosecco, in a company that’s one of the first to merchandise Prosecco Metodo Classico, a wine that has achieved significant awards. The superior quality grapes, destined for DOCG, come exclusively from a limited area of Valdobbiadene-Conegliano that includes the vineyards of Carpesica, a small village near Vittorio Veneto located northeast of the DOCG area, where the winery and the vineyards owned by the family can be found.

Guided tour of the winery and vineyards where Prosecco Superiore is produced
Visit and Tasting in the winery | Approximately 2 hours
The production area of Prosecco Superiore is entirely located in the province of Treviso and more precisely in the hills around Vittorio Veneto, Conegliano and Valdobbiadene. It is vinified from Glera grapes, a semi-aromatic vine, with the addition of other local grapes such as Bianchetta, Perera and Verdiso. Frequently, even for Conegliano Valdobbiadene, one can speak of heroic viticulture since the steep slopes of the hills do not allow mechanisation and work is painstakingly carried out by hand. The most famous and popular version of this wine is Prosecco Spumante, produced from base wines and fizzed up using the Martinotti-Charmat method, which makes it possible to best express the typical floral and fruity notes. Usually dry, both still and sparkling PROSECCO DOCG are also produced here.
Zoning of vineyards is quintessential, and many producers are adding the “rive” mention on their labels, to underline the extremely high quality of their prosecco, deriving from a particularly fertile land. Conegliano Valdobbiadene is marketed indicating the residual sugar content and it can be Extra-dry, Dry and Brut.
